In connection to the migration of Xetra to the T7 trading technology and the implementation of T7 Release 5.0, scheduled for 26 June 2017, we will provide you a list with the ETCs to be migrated and a list with the non-CCP-eligible instruments, which will not be available for trading on Xetra (XETR) anymore.

Production launch of Equities, ETFs and ETNs on the T7 trading platform on 03 July 2017
On Monday 03 July 2017 Deutsche Boerse Group will launch trading of the remaining instruments (Equities, ETFs and ETNs) of the Xetra market (MIC: XETR) on the T7 trading platform. The pretrade phase will start at 06:00am CEST in order to give members more time to re-enter the orders deleted on Friday 30 June 2017 from the existing Xetra trading platform as part of the migration.
Members are reminded that they must change their user passwords during the first login on the T7 trading platform. It is recommended that members (if not already done) change their passwords before Monday. Passwords can already now be changed using the Xetra T7 Trader GUI or Xetra T7 Admin GUI.
On Saturday 01 July 2017 connectivity to the T7 trading platform will be offered via ETI, FIX Gateway and the T7 GUIs between 11:00am and 1:00pm CEST. Technical Support and Market Supervision will be available between 11:00am and 1:00pm CEST.
Please refer to Xetra Circular 053/17 (available under www.xetra.com > Newsroom > Xetra circulars) for detailed information of the migration procedure, system availability on Saturday 24 June and the production launch. Please Note that contrary to the information contained in the circular the FIX Gateways will be available on Saturday 01 July 2017 from 10:00am until 1:00pm for connectivity testing.
For the migration to the T7 trading system, certain ETCs and ETFs have been grouped into products to allow for the usage of mass quoting and mass deletion functionality on these products. The respective ETCs are on precious metals and oil & gas (which have been active on Xetra T7 since 26 June 2017) as well as ETFs having the DAX or the EuroStoXX as the underlying (which will become active on the T7 trading platform as of 03 July 2017).
To establish the product to which an instrument belongs, participants need to refer to the product’s “MktSeg” and “MktSegID” fields in the reference data (RDF or RDI). Once the “MktSegID” value for the product is known, it must be compared with the “MktSegID” field for each of the individual instruments.
(e.g.) For the product ENERGY_ETC the values of the fields are as follows:
MktSeg=ENERGY_ETC / MktSegId=54122
All instruments containing a value of “54122” in the “MktSegID” field belong to the product “ENERGY_ETC”
The “T7 (XETR) All tradable instruments file” (t7-xetr-allTradableInstruments.csv), located on the xetra website (www.xetra.com > Instruments > All tradable instruments), can also be used to determine which product an instrument belongs to. In this case the “MktSegID” field from the reference data needs to be compared with the “Product ID” field in the file.
For more details on the mass quoting concept, please refer to the “T7 Enhanced Trading Interface – Manual” available on the Xetra website under www.xetra.com > Technology > T7 trading architecture > System documentation.
